That is 1 of many reasons I stopped doing myspace- I used to sponsor a lot of top models and music groups on my pages (yes I have 2 pages- I had over 20,000 friends) and also tutor people on how to do a good myspace page (had my own help site and everything)- so to answer your question- yes people lie about anything they can- it's the internet so people think they can do what they want and how they want.
